The last few days my life has seemed a bit unreal. So many things have gone right and there has been so much healing!

I found the perfect table. Yes that may sound silly but really it is a huge deal. Makenzie can now play with her toys and has a space big enough to see her talker all at the same time.

My ex husband helped pay for my snow tires and then went to his work and put them on him self... faint.

Makenzie's acid reflux medicine is now made in a generic and it is not working. I have been talking to the pharmaceutical companies, her doctors, the pharmacist and the insurance companies trying to get the brand name covered. Today while we were at Target I went to check on the progress of our fight and low and behold without so much as one punch it had been covered! Co Pay $0.00!!! That never happens!

And of course there is the walking. Today Makenzie showed off for her PT. We made a few modifications to the walker and her therapist was so excited at how Makenzie was doing in it!

After therapy we headed to Target. I left Makenzie's wheelchair at home and instead I loaded her new walker into the van. She walked from the front of the store to the back. We explored several isles and picked up a few things we needed. She then walked all the way back to the front of the store over the carpet, out the door and to the edge of the sidewalk where I stopped her.

Other then when eating and doing therapy Makenzie has been in that walker all day! She does not want to sit in her wheelchair and the few times I laid her on the mat she fussed until I put her in her Pony! Makenzie walked to the front door to meet her speech therapist. She walked through my dirt pile while I swept. She found our kitty, and plowed over her brothers school work after he ignored my warning to move it off of the floor.

Now I am going to get sappy because this is huge life changing stuff. So if you don't like sappy, I would advise you stop reading.... right about ..... here! LOL

First and for most I want to give God the glory! He has been so faithful to this family. He has blessed Makenzie with so many, many miracle's in both large and small forms. He continues to give our family so much hope, peace and safety. I have been praying and pleading for this very day to come for over 3 years and today His answer to the many prayers spoken on Makenzie's behalf changed from "not yet" to "yes".  At moments it feels so surreal that it has come. God's plan and timing amazes me.

I also want to say thank you to all of Makenzie's therapists. Without their knowledge of the body and love for my daughter, Makenzie would not be here today. They have fought so hard for Makenzie and never stopped believing in her. They have supported every single one of my crazy therapy trips and have even taken the trek across the country with us several times! They have become part of this family and will always hold a special place in my heart.

To my family, friends, and complete strangers who have lifted up prayers for Makenzie, donated towards her therapies, and given so much of your time over the last three and a half years. Thank You! This journey has not been easy! There have been so many times I have wanted to throw in the towel and then I get a phone call, a comment on this blog, or a message on Facebook with words of encouragement and love for Makenzie. I am then able to pick the towel back up with a smile on my face feeling like I can go on! Your kind words and prayers mean so much! Thank You!

Makenzie has much to learn and we will continue on our journey to full restoration but today we rejoice and celebrate this huge Miracle God has performed!

Believe... Prayer Works and Miracle's Happen!

Oh my gosh! This is sensational! Thank you for sharing it in pictures.
I'm so happy for you, Pam. For all that you do and do and do, this is such a wonderful reward. What a gift you are to your daughter!
