Down Town Adventure

What a day! I am so very tired but we had a great time!

We started our adventure downtown by driving to the park and ride. We unloaded 2 strollers, a wheel chair, 2 diaper bags, water bottles, and sunscreen.... oh wait we forgot the sunscreen! oops. Our adventure officially began when we went the wrong way on the elevator. At the top the elevator stopped but did not open. It was hot and stuffy and my heart began to race! I pushed the alarm button and the door popped open. I got out with Makenzie and Erica road down with her kids and Makenzie's chair. I never realized how claustrophobic I am but man that REALLY scared me!

We got on the train. Funny, funny stuff! We took up almost the whole front car with all of our stuff. Makenzie LOVED the train. She giggled and smiled while she looked out at everything there was to see as we flew through the city. Then there was the guy who tripped on the side walk outside landing very close to under the train. he got up and walked away thankfully! Never ending!

Downtown was packed with people! We ran into several groups doing something for tips. Makenzie's favorite was a group playing the drums. Then there was the group who was pulling worms out of their noses.... yeah we did NOT stop to watch that one.... and the homeless guy pounding on the piano. We watched a lot of people walking down the mall.

The taste of Colorado was nice. We tried a bunch of food, danced in the park, climbed up a tree, played carnival games, walked a lot, and headed back home on the train. Right now tired would be an understatement!

I am so tired but so very thankful  I can do this kind of stuff with Makenzie. She loves the loud music and people watching is a favorite of hers. Three years ago I would have never dreamt of being able to take Makenzie to an event like this. As funny as we must have looked and as much work as it was pushing, pulling, and dragging all of the kids andn their stuff around today I am so blessed that was is even possible!

Believe... Prayer Works!
