Special Mommy Talk

I read a few blogs of other mommy's who live special lives with special children. Over the last two days 2 of these amazing mothers have written about topics that I have been searching for words on for some time. Each of these mothers could have taken these same feelings right out of my heart. I think even though each and every one of our lives and children are so different, us moms have many of the same struggles. Sometimes it feels like a different language. Special Mommy Talk!

There is not enough time. There is the tug of war between all of the daily tasks and the rest of what is so important to us. There is so much hope in tragedy. There is the unbelievable love for our child to the point where we can see past the disability... most of the time.

I just love how Nella's Mommy over at Enjoying the Small Things puts into words her journey of moving past the weight of her daughters disability and living life to it fullest. Her words are amazing. They are filled with hope and the reality that each and everyone of us has a different story and in the end we would not trade our story for anything.

Parker's Mommy over at Praying for Parker had an amazing post about an event in their household this week. The constant tug of war in a special needs family when it come to the sometimes all consuming medical needs of the child with special needs and the sibling of that child. This is hard stuff, but oh so comforting to know that I am not alone in the struggle!

Go check these blogs out! It will be well worth your time!
