Warming up

Man oh man oh man!

Today was a crazy day!

I woke up this morning to MORE snow on the ground and a thermostat that read 60 degrees. Downstairs I marched to find what I expected.... no flame.... no heat! Eeeek! Thanks to the help of my wonderful son the last time this happened I was able to lite it again in only 2 tries! Laugh away but I was so proud!

Slowly the house began to heat up and was comfortable enough for speech therapy. Makenzie did well. She seemed a bit tired but woke up as the session went on.

In the early afternoon I had a meeting with the middle school. I have to say it was the first meeting that I didn't leave more frustrated then when I got there! I am so lucky to have such a great bunch of teachers and administrators who really care about my kid and found the time to listen and act on my thoughts and feelings. There is a first time for everything!

Makenzie had a great day at school other then the fact that her nose began to run while she was there. CRAP!!! Please pray that she is not getting sick! We leave in 2 days for another country and stem cells. PRAY FOR HEALTH!!!

After school about 2 blocks after leaving the parking lot my truck decided to overheat. It is a really good thing it was nice outside because the unexpected long walk we got to take back home was so beautiful and invigorating. At this point I have no clue what is wrong with my truck but as you can imagine I have a ton to do in getting ready for our trip! Thank You mom and dad for the sacrifices you made to let me use your car so that I can get all of this done tomorrow!

It seems to always be some thing around here lately but I am still holding on. I know that my God is holding me and will not fail me! Makenzie continues to heal and I am so excited to get to Costa Rica!

During Speech today Makenzie kept talking about Joey. When we asked her if Joey was going to be in Costa Rica she gave a HUGE smile. So smart she is!!!

I have lots to do and little time! Please pray that Makenzie does not get a full fledged cold and that she would wake up in the morning well and ready for the day and our trip!!! Pray!

Believe.... Prayer Works!

Everytime I mention to Joey that we are going to see Makenzie he gets so excited also.
