The Impossible

Today we spent a lot of time in the car!

The boys spent the night at grandmas house last night so this morning Makenzie and I hung out together at home.

This afternoon I had a few errands to run and then we headed downtown for ABM.

Makenzie had a really good day today. She was loose and happy all day!

We then drove to grandmas house to pick up the boys and head back across town to a birthday party!

We had a great time! Makenzie was so good! Even though it was a late night for her she smiled and laughed all night!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACK!!! I hope you had a great day!

I am so excited with how well Makenzie continues to do in the carseat. In the past she would just scream and scream in the car. It began to get better but we still could not go much over an hour at a tme and then the ride home was always super hard.

Today I didn't hear a peep out of Makenzie and because it was so late, I even started her feed while at the party and left it on for the ride home. Normally I would not do that because she tends to have a lot of reflux when fed in the car. She made it home without one single episode!

Lately Makenzie has been just as happy as a clam in the car. She loves to look out the window and take in every site. She enjoys singing silly songs with mommy and her brothers and playing with her shaker!

I am not sure why this has changed so drastically in the the past couple of months but I will take it! It is so amazing that what such a seemingly little thing makes such a huge difference in life! The world is opening up for us. I am not so sure I am ready for a road trip just yet but at least we can now drive from one side of the city to the other without fear. I can get in the fast lane and not be scanning the highway for a safe place to pull over in case Makenzie needs me. It is AMAZING!!

Tomorrow we remember when Jesus did the impossible. He rose from the dead! He has risen indeed! This day gives me so much hope. It reminds me that nothing is impossible for our God, who came to earth to show us how much we are loved by doing what only He could make possible.

How can I feel anything but hope! God is the mighty healer! Only God knows the plan for Makenzie but I am reminded by Easter that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

Believe... Prayer Works!
