It was a Great Day Y'all

Jingle Bells Batman smells we went to our first Christmas party today!

It was a great time. Loud music, face painting, balloons, and good company. Makenzie got a flower with glitter and all painted on her face. I forgot my camera and she had smeared it high heaven before we got home so there are no pictures. Oops, sorry!

Makenzie started out the day with therapy and did well. When that was over it was time to get ready for our party. Makenzie however did not want anything to do with mommy putting her down. Every time I even attempted she would just scream and then came the tears! By the time I was dressed, had put her chair in the car, and started the car so that it was warm, she was covered in tears, puffy eyed, snotty, and splochy!

Now to most that would just be a pain but I was in Makenzie heaven. It is so nice to know that your child wants you! So nice that she can finally express that. So nice, oh so nice!! So I picked her up with a melted heart, a huge smile on my face and soft words telling by baby girl that I was here, I was not going anywhere and that we were going to spend the WHOLE day together! I so LOVE that girl!

While we were at the party she was standing and weight bearing really well so I put her in her walker when we got home and she just took off! I was talking to a good friend and she pretty much threatened my life if I didn't get video, so thanks to Aunt Jami you all get a treat!

She just loved it! She walked so well all by herself with a little steering help from mommy!

She is sleeping peacefully after a little issue with puke. Tonight I am thankful that my daughter is able to cough and very well at that!! She had rolled over on her tummy and was stuck, mad, and covered in yucky! She was very upset and the thing that bugs me the most is that I was right across the hall and didn't hear any of it until she started SCREAMING!!! Thank You God for your protection! You better believe I will be heading off to Target in the morning to get a new monitor with 2 receivers because apparently being just 10 small steps from her is just not good enough!

Blessed, thankful and full of HOPE is how I feel tonight! Thank you for the continued support!!! Keep praying for my little girl!!!
