It is just BITTER cold!!! I am pretty sure it is about 7 degrees here right now! I guess it is ok because it feels like Christmas around here!

Once again I have a crazy week not to mention that Christmas is two and a half weeks away! Guess how many gifts I have bought? ZERO!!! I have a long ways to go! Oh boy!!!

"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." (Isaiah 43:18-19, NIV)

I am need of some refreshment! I am in need of some extra sleep and for my life to let up a bit. That it is not going to happen so I will have to trust that God will make a way and renew my soul! I am ready for new things! Just not too many! LOL!

I looked in on Makenzie a few minutes ago and she looks so perfect while she is sleeping! She was laying on her stomach which she hasn't done in a while but has been doing for the last few nights. Silly little things like this make me crazy because I sit and think about what changed. Is it good, or bad. Does it mean she is healing, working through sensory stuff, is there something big coming or is it simply nothing! Only God knows but she sure is cute none the less!

I am ready for Monday as it has been a cold, long, didn't leave my house kind of weekend! Tonight I am thankful for 4 healthy kids! I am looking forward to a great week with some Christmas shopping!

Please keep praying!

Dear Heavenly Father,
There are many days when we feel we are in a desert, with little water or refreshment in our lives. Nevertheless, your Word says that you make a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. Father, we ask that you would renew each of us with your streams of refreshment and new hope for the future. Father, we especially lift Makenzie to you and ask that you would do a new thing in her life that would bring her to a new levels. We ask that she would feel your stream of refreshment, and that it would propel her forward. Lord, we also ask for a special refreshment for each member of this family, looking forward to the new season you are bringing us into.
In Jesus' Name,
