Internet Woes

Sometime technology drives me crazy!

Tonight after I put Makenzie to bed my Internet would not work. It would load and load and then give me an error message. I messed with it for a little while and short of throwing the computer, router, and the modem out the window, I gave up!

I tucked the boys in bed and decided that since there would be no facebook I should start in on my house. Ever since Makenzie got strep I have been incredibly unmotivated to clean as I still feel like I am catching up on EVERYTHING. So tonight I think God was telling me it was time! I was able to get on top of some things and then sat down to watch a bit of TV. I decided to call the cable company and turns out it is a problem with my router, not the modem so now I am stuck at my desk! I am not computer illiterate but this is a bit over my head! LOL

Today was a good day. Makenzie only had one hour of therapy because one of her therapists was not feeling well, so we had a bit more time this morning which was nice.

She did a great job with eating again today! I am so proud of her. In the last 2 days she has been taking bigger bits with little gagging and no coughing! She seems to like the thicker consistency so I got her some infant rice and oatmeal to mix with the jarred food and that went VERY well! About 6oz again today! YEAH!

This afternoon while I was eating she kept whining so I gave her a taste of some sauce on a tater tot and she leaned her head forward a bit, opened her mouth, and took a big bite! Oh my heart was racing! She is doing well but I don't think she is ready for that! I quickly laid her down and swiped it out of her mouth! She was PISSED! She wanted that tator tot! Sorry baby girl!!! SOON!!!

So in the world of having 3 boys my oldest has decided that he MUST have a guinea pig! He has birthday money and is old enough to care for it by himself so I conceded! I didn't want to! I need another live thing in this house about as much as I need a hole in my head but I think it will be good for him. It will give himm the chance to learn how to care for something that totally depends on him. I told him that he would have to do chores to make money to pay for the supplies he would need and that the day I took over care was the day the pig would have to find a new home! We shall see how it goes! I know he can do it and he is very excited!

The day is done. All the kids are fast asleep, the house is mostly clean and I am going to bed!!!

Continue to pray for health and healing! As always Believe.... Prayer Works
